Apprenticeships train employees in technical skills, improve their job performance, and focus on job-related safety. The combination of skills and safety training delivers an impressive layer of risk reduction and reverses rising experience mods for a company struggling with work-related injuries.

In addition to our apprenticeship program, our Continuing Education Program ensures that skills continue to develop and safety remains a priority. Workers gain training on the latest products, installation techniques and repair procedures from manufacturers that are revolutionizing the industry.

Waterbury Workforce Solutions’ apprenticeship program is approvedby the NYS Department of Labor and NYS Department of Education. The list of trades for which apprenticeship programs exist continually adapts to the needs of the economy.

In addition to career specific training, workers receive instruction in:

  • First Aid/CPR/AED (7 hours)
  • Sensitivity – Sexual Harassment – Discrimination Training (3 hours)
  • Labor Relations – History (6 hours)
  • Industrial & Labor Relations – Current Laws & Practices (14 hours)
  • Hazard Communication & Asbestos Awareness & Right-To-Know (3 hours)

Waterbury Workforce Solutions provides comprehensive risk management programs which include all OSHA Safety and Health Training Courses.
